Cedar City has so much to offer for a little town tucked next to the mountains.
Every kind of outdoor recreation that you can think of is all less than an hour away.
If the outdoors is not your forte, there is more to choose from.
The Utah Shakespearean Festival offers many shows during the summer and fall months.
St. George is also down the road about 60 miles.
St. George has a population around 100,000 including the surrounding areas;
it will offer you about anything that you want.
If that doesn't cut it for you then Las Vegas is about a 2½ hour drive from Cedar and from
Salt Lake City it is about a 3½ hours.
Zion National Park is nearly out the back door with some of the finest hiking, backpacking, site seeing, canyoneering, and kayaking around. Zion is about 60 miles from Cedar City, an easy hour drive. Cedar Breaks State Park is just a rock throw away and Bryce Canyon is 98 miles away. Cedar City has some of the best schools around from k-12 and a university.
