Parowan is known as the "Mother Town of Southern Utah".
Main Street is lined with several small shops to get acquainted with.
When in Parowan be sure to stop at the Museums dedicated to the pioneers who settled the area.
Just a short drive out of town is the "Gap" known for its incredible petroglyphs. If skiing is more to your liking try Brianhead just a short drive up Parowan Canyon. Parowan is right on the I-15 corridor making it close to all the attractions in Cedar City just 20 minutes away. Parowan is centrally located to several State and National Parks, scenic byways and backways. As you can tell Parowan is right in the middle of the action. |
